Get your thinking caps on as you set out to uncover the Brisbane Burglar in a scavenger-hunt-meets-escape-room activity with Brisbane Street Games. You can read more about your challenge here, and when you’re finished you can catch your breath before meeting your guide at The Gresham at 11:45am for pickup.

These neighbouring breweries, situated in the Newstead and Teneriffe areas of Brisbane, are staples in the Queensland craft beer repertoire and an ideal place to start your tour. Sample their core ranges – plus maybe a few seasonal brews if the timing is right.

We will visit both of these Queensland brewing icons, learning about the history of each and discovering differences of flavour across their ranges.

Guests have the chance to check out Common Ground Brewing at Milton Common and sample award-winning beers. With a core range including a traditional English bitter and a dark lager, plus rotating taps that include sours, a black IPA, and whatever the brewer felt like throwing on tap that day, there is always something to push guests past their comfort zones and find something truly unique.

The team at Sea Legs are all about helping you find yours! Whether you’re sampling a Golden Ale, a fruited sour, a refreshing pale ale or a milk stout, we’ll have a great time working our way through four of the beers that are on tap. Since there is a constant rotation of options, we’ll have to see what’s on offer when we arrive!

Our third and final venue may be one listed above, or we may switch it up and visit Brisbane Brewing Co., All Inn Brewing Co., Soapbox Beer, Stone & Wood, or one of the other outstanding craft breweries in the area!

Where a location is indicated, we will pick up you outside the venue so please keep an eye out for our van – you can’t miss it!

Pick Ups:

  • The Gresham is an historic pub in central Brisbane. From Central Station, exit toward Ann Street. Past the ANZAC Memorial and through Post Office Square, next to the NAB bank, you’ll find The Gresham tucked away. Alternatively you can exit toward Edward Street, head down the hill and turn left onto Queen Street. Walk about 1/2 block and The Gresham will be next to the NAB on your left. Please note The Gresham does not open until 4pm on Saturdays and is closed on Sundays; we will still pick up here and there are plenty of places in Post Office Square to get a coffee and/or breakfast.

We are flexible with our drop-off locations within the city based on guests’ needs and requests.

Included in the price: Detective Game with Brisbane Street Games (90-120 mins depending), transportation in our private, air-conditioned van, guided brewery tour with explanation of the brewing process, all beer samples at the breweries we visit, lunch, beer education and history, snacks, and witty commentary (well, we think it is).

Please note: itinerary subject to change based on traffic, closures, new openings, events or spur-of-the-moment decisions, however we will ensure you receive everything listed above.

Not finding the tour you want on the date you need? Give us a call – we might have created a special tour for the day that we can get you on, or we may be sold out. But you’ll never know unless you ask. We’re always happy to help and check availability for you.
